Interplay between Conductivity, Matrix Relaxations and Composition of Ca‐Polyoxyethylene Polymer Electrolytes

Abstract In this report, the conductivity mechanism of Ca 2+ ‐ion in polyoxyethylene (POE) solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs) for calcium secondary batteries is investigated by broadband electrical spectroscopy studies. SPEs are obtained dissolving into POE hosting matrix three different salts: CaTf 2 , Ca(TFSI) and CaI . The investigation electric response synthetized reveals presence materials two polarization phenomena dielectric relaxation events. It demonstrated that nature anion ( i. e ., steric hindrance, charge density ability to act as coordination ligand) “dynamic crosslinks ” fundamental establishment ion‐ion/ion‐polymer interactions. long‐range migration processes occurring along revealed percolation pathways generally coupled with host dynamics depend on temperature nature. This study offers needed tools understanding conduction POE‐based electrolytes.
